Troubleshooting Full Swing Kit Connection Issues in the HandyGolf App
If you are having trouble connecting your Full Swing Kit to the HandyGolf app, use the checklist below to resolve the most common connection issues.
1. Turn On Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Before trying to connect, make sure both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on for your phone.
Also confirm that your Full Swing Kit is powered on and ready to connect.
2. Register the Full Swing Kit in the Full Swing App First
Before using the Full Swing Kit with HandyGolf, you need to have connected it to the Full Swing app at least once.
This step registers the device ID with the Full Swing system, which then allows HandyGolf to connect to the device.
If you have never connected your Full Swing Kit to the Full Swing app, open the Full Swing app first and complete the device setup process.
3. Make Sure the Kit Is Not Already Connected to Another App
The Full Swing Kit can only be connected to one app at a time.
That means:
- If the kit is connected to the Full Swing app, it cannot connect to the HandyGolf app.
- If the kit is connected to the HandyGolf app, it may prevent the Full Swing app from connecting.
If you are having connection problems, check whether the Full Swing Kit is already active in another app.
4. End Any Live Session in the Other App
If your Full Swing Kit is currently connected in a live session with the Full Swing app, disconnect or end that session before trying to connect through HandyGolf.
Likewise, if you want to use the Full Swing app, make sure HandyGolf is not currently connected to the kit.
Quick Connection Checklist
Before connecting your Full Swing Kit to HandyGolf, confirm the following:
- Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Bluetooth is turned on.
- The Full Swing Kit is powered on.
- The kit has previously been set up in the Full Swing app.
- The kit is not connected to another app.
- Any active session in the other app has been ended or disconnected.
Following these steps should resolve most Full Swing Kit connection issues in the HandyGolf app.
